A Nice Surpise

Three days after Best of the Northwest, I received an email from someone who had stopped by and admired one of my artworks. She loved the peice, but it was large and out of her price range. We talked for a while, exchanged contact info.

Well, she emailed asking if it was still available, and if so, she wanted to purchase it. Yay!!

The piece is called Convergence. It's 23" x 35", mounted on a 24" x 30" canvas. It is created from ahnd-dyed fabric (by Just Robertson) that I sliced and diced and rearranged, then machine-stitched heavily with varigated and solid threads. Here's a photo and a couple of detail shots.
